In this series of founder interviews, our Editor-in-Chief Benjamin Mann digs into the incredible minds, ventures and backstories of some of the world’s most exciting startup entrepreneurs. Alongside the conversation, both Ben and the founders also dig into a bottle of wine. Once the bottle is finished, so is the interview. The only requirement is that both the wine and the interview be entirely UnCorked.
In this short-cut from the full-length episode (look out for that next week!) we sit down with Rodney Rice, the Co-Founder and CEO of Waldo Photos. Through a series of rapid fire questions we toss aside the professional stuff to get straight to knowing Rodney, the guy.
Sure, Waldo raised $5 million earlier this year. Sure, back in 1998, Rodney co-founded HomeAdvisor with Michael Beaudoin and they eventually sold the company to some obscure group called IAC/InterActiveCorp (maybe you’ve heard of Barry Diller and Match.com?). But did you know that Rodney thinks you can never spend too much money on socks and he can’t stand Kanye West?
Enjoy getting to know Mr. Rice as much as we did:
