All you need to do once you’ve made the request is get your stuff packed and ready for transport. The assigned Dude will help load the items into their pick-up truck, move them, and unload them at the drop-off location. Most Dudes can’t tell you if the new rug ties the room together, but they can drag it through a door without breaking too much.
The app updates users with the progress of the move in real-time and notifies them when the truck has arrived at the pick-up and drop-off locations. It also allows users to loop in other contacts so the Dude can coordinate the move with a friend or relative in their absence.
Payments are easy to make since it’s done from within the mobile app. The amount is computed based on the distance of the haul and the estimated time. Each move is allotted 2 hours from start to finish. If the job takes more than 2 hours, users are required to pay a dollar per additional minute until the job has been completed.
