Bibop Gresta is the COO of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies. The company recently announced a partnership with Deutsche Bahn as well as an entry plan for India. All part of the job when you’re taking on the ambitious task of building The Hyperloop. In case you’ve forgotten, the Hyperloop is that whole self-powering-speed-of-sound-capsule-in-a-tube-that-will-probably-change-the-world concept thingy that a random dude named, Elon Musk cooked up in some whitepaper back in 2013.
In Part 2 of our 2-part interview (if you haven’t already watched Part 1, The Backstory of Bibop, you absolutely must), we get into the hard cores of The Hyperloop and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies: how did it get off the ground, how is it being built, how will it work, what will it cost, when will we have it, and of course, why is it such a big deal? To wrap up our conversation and our wine—a beautiful bottle of 2006 Sassicaia—we also get through some rapid fire questions that uncover more of behind-the-scenes-Bibop and the eccentric personality that makes him perfect for his role at HTT.
Enjoy getting UnCorked with us and feel free to officially get excited about The Hyperloop.
